This programme is designed for young dairy farmers aged 18–30 from around the world. Participants will gain international work experience, learn new farming techniques, and build connections with leading dairy operations.

NZDC is recognised by Immigration New Zealand as the sole accredited organisation for the dairy industry. We are committed to fostering global cooperation in agriculture and empowering the next generation of dairy professionals.

Exchange Experience

Participants will engage in a 12-month paid placement, gaining firsthand experience in modern dairy farming. From pasture-based systems to animal care, you'll work alongside experienced farm teams and build your expertise in the field.

  • Paid job placements on New Zealand dairy farms, with wages typically ranging from NZD $25 to $33 per hour.
  • On-the-job training in animal health, pasture management, milking systems, and farm maintenance.
  • Accommodation options, pastoral care, visa support, travel guidance, and airport transfers are included.
